Last night the family and I attended a performance of Handel’s Messiah at the National Cathedral. Attending a live performance in a cathedral is quite an experience and the performers do a fantastic job of filling the space with sound. If you are a fan of Handel’s music you should definitely try and attend the Messiah at least once. You might also want to check out the cathedral’s concert schedule which includes some other excellent music including Bach and Beethoven.
